It's official! We are committing two years to working with the missionaries in the Dominican Republic. The core of our work in the Dominican will be reaching out to those in small villages in the surrounding area of Bobita. Some of our responsibilities will include: drilling water wells, assisting the sick and injured with basic medical assistance, handling the financial books for the mission program, reaching out to the women in the village through different activities, working with the local church to strengthen the Christians and reach out to the lost, mentoring the children in the orphanage, taking the needy to the doctor or dentist when necessary, and supporting the other missionary team members in their efforts.
